DiBella hopes to get Nika back by Thanksgiving. DiBella said that it was shocking that a 5 pound dog would end up in Florida.Ībout a year after Nika was lost, DiBella got a new dog. Later, DiBella got a phone call saying that Nika had a microchip which turned out to have DiBella's information. The email told him that Nika was found on the doorstep of a home in Florida. DiBella is in New York nearly 2,000 miles away. The email was from an animal shelter in Marion County. Only a few days ago DiBella, the owner, received an email. How this sad story turns into a happy one. He called some local vet practices and he also called some local animal shelters. He posted fliers and even called several places. He did so much to get his toy fox terrier back. He was mowing his lawn when he realized that Nika was gone. Two years ago, a New York man's dog, Nika, was stolen. I will help do fundraisers to buy to structures for our yard and help pay for school supplies." Grace: "The reason why I want to be Treasurer is because, I want to help the school and I want to make it a better place. I would also get more games for the middle classrooms." Oliver: "If I became Treasurer, I would host more fundraisers and more field days. Since I am the only one running for President, I plan on helping the school by getting more supplies for the school and considering different ideas from students. There will be two elections through out the two semesters. The positions are President, Vice President, Secretary, and,Treasurer. On Thursday, candidates will present their speeches and voting will be on Friday. The second annual Hillwood election will be held next week.
By the end of World War 1 Stubby fought in 17 battles and but eventually died in 1926. Stubby was injured by a grenade blast and had loads of shrapnel on his chest and leg. For finding the spy Stubby got a field promotion of sergeant and is the first dog to get a field promotion. A German spy was mapping a layout of the French base, Stubby saw the spy, and was biting his leg untill American Soldiers came.
Roberts Conroy division was bombed by a gas launch Stubby sensed the gas and woke up all the soldiers to sound the gas alarm. The injury made Stubby sensitive to any time of gas. Stubby's first injury was from a gas exposure. Stubby soon was used to the noise of bombs and rifles. Robert Conroy's commanding officer found out that Stubby was onboard, the dog gave him a salute. Robert Conroy was boarding a ship the SS Minnesota to France he hid Stubby in a coal bin. Stubby made people feel happy and, so he was allowed to stay in the camp.
